Hey Ya'll

Things are good with workouts and food, but my thyroid is acting up and I'm EXTREMELY EXHAUSTED. I've been reading all of your blogs, but I'm just too tired to comment (pretty pathetic, huh?). I'm too tired to write anything out about my new workout plan and move, too. Just waiting to hear back from my doctor about upping my medicine dosage... so hopefully I'll get some brain power and energy back.

For those who completed challenges recently, you ROCK.

xo, Rachel

P.S. Has anyone seen The Machinist with Christian Bale (most recent Batman)? OMGoodness. I can't believe his body in that movie. I fell asleep during the movie, but the entire time I watched it I couldn't pay attention to anything other than his body - not in a lustful way, either. Holy crap. How the hell did he do that?

The after picture really doesn't do him justice either. You should see his body in "American Psycho" or "Batman Begins." He's normally like 6'2" and 200 lbs. He lost 65 lbs for "The Machinist." And it was brutal. He did it before Batman. I'm definitely a Christian Bale fan.

Here's a quote from IMDB.com

Dropped an amazing 63 pounds for his role as the emaciated insomniac Trevor Reznik in the film Maquinista, El (2004) with only a single vitamin consultation with a nutritionist to guide him. For the most part, he only ate salads and apples, chewed gum, smoked cigarettes, and drank nonfat lattes.

Not too healthy!!!

holy crap... it's amazing the physical control some people have... to just transform themselves at will. I wonder if it would be that "easy" for me if I were doing it for my job instead of just because I want to.

Renee Zellweger is another one who amazed me... she gained like 50 lbs to play bridget jones then lost it all QUICKLY afterward by eating basically just egg whites and spinach!... and working out 4 hours a day or something like that.

crazy.

I have not, I'll have to look it up. I like non-mainstream movies.

Don't feel bad about not commenting. I'm in the zone today and making up for lost time. :-)

Hope you get your levels all leveled out again, soon. I have a friend on total hormone therapy and she struggles so much! A lot to deal with.

I haven't seen that movie. I did hear about his transformation. Pretty disturbing if you ask me.

Wow,

How did he do that???

There is not an ounce of fat on him. I don't know if I really like that little of body fat on a man. I like a little bit to pinch!

Sorry your thyroid is acting up. I know what that's like, I had some thyroid disfunction pretty bad a few years ago...I think it was brought on by the depo-provera shot. Anyhow, I literally had no energy, and it was so hard for me to focus. And I was only diagnosed "borderline" hypothyroidism.

I'm sending good vibes your way that you stabilize soon.

((HUGS))
